About Us

Louisiana Youth Theatre inspires youth to dream big and bring their vision of theater to life. At LYT, youth can direct, choreograph, stage manage, music direct, build sets, create props, and design costumes. We believe in the dreams and abilities of all young theater geeks

Mission

Our mission is to inspire young theater geeks to use the talents and skills they have onstage and offstage. We believe in your vision, your abilities and YOU! We believe in creating a theater community with a place for everyone, whether that's being the lead role, being the director or helping out backstage. Whatever is most comfortable for you. We want you to know that just because you're a youth theater kid, it does not mean you can't take control of your talent.
